Gaia is gorgeous! The smaller subtle patterns made of darker and lighter natural yarn create a unique larger pattern in the fabric. The striped mix of red, black and terracotta that crowns the long edges gives this pestemal its warm character. Even the linen, which is otherwise a bit more textured, is delicately processed and feels incredibly soft. Gaia is much more than only a towel and would be perfect as a shawl, tablecloth, or a throw.
